Our History
Capri Capital LLC was founded in 2009 by Shari Peterson. Shari was an experienced real estate investor active in many aspects of investing -- flipping short sales, buy-and-hold rental properties, subject-to purchases, and lease-option tenants. After the housing market crash in 2008, Title Companies became more restrictive and began requiring Cash Up Front for Wholesale Double Closes. As a Wholesaler herself, Shari suddenly needed to find funds to close her own deals. It was through that need that she decided to form a business offering to loan funds to other investors who also had that same need.
Providing Transactional Funding to Wholesale Investors became her primary focus
Over the years the company has evolved with the changing real estate investment marketplace. These offerings have come to include Hard Money for Fix and Flip, Buy and Hold Rental, BRRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat).
Our FOUNDER
Prior to forming Capri Capital LLC, Shari has had many successful business ventures.
She owned Webster Group International (WGI), where she served as the President and CEO. WGI provided Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services that guaranteed their clients would rank in the first 10 positions on the search engines. Formed in 1995, it literally was one of the first three SEO companies in the world. In 2001, WGI was named by Deloitte and Touche as one of St. Louis' "Technology Fast 50". This prestigious award is given to technology companies that have shown the fastest growth over the previous 5 years. WGI was awarded 5th place out of 50 technology companies. WGI also was ranked #369 in the national Deloitte and Touche "Technology Fast 500".
She sold the company to a British firm called Tempus Group in 2000 and stayed on as President and CEO until 2002. In 2001 Tempus Group was bought by WPP, the largest advertising, marketing, & communications company in the world. WGI served as its online arm to provide marketing and advertising services to its clientele via the internet. WGI was rebranded as Outrider in 2001 and remains in business today as one of the premier search marketing firms in the world.
While operating WGI, she also developed a software product called SitePromoter, which allowed individuals and businesses to create their own Search Engine Optimization marketing campaigns for their own business web sites. This company was also sold with WGI to Tempus Group in 2000.
Prior to forming WGI, she created a software product that was designed specifically to help organize the business of those involved with selling Pampered Chef® products, which is a home party business that sells all types of kitchen products. This software was subsequently sold to the corporate offices of the Pampered Chef®, where it was used by their consultants and directors nationwide.
